Chemo treatment day four.

| Checking in to Tampa General Hospital |
It's been four days since Laura got admitted to the Hospital to start her Chemo treatment, so far she's been doing very good.
First day, Monday, room was ready after 6 pm so they just did some bloodwork and talked about the expectations for the treatment. Tuesday all kinds of doctors came to talk, check on her and getting ready to authorize the treatment to begin... Finally at night they brought the IV medications for the Chemo.
Day two and three of chemo she didn't have any side effects yet, although on day two the hemoglobin went below the limit so she needed a transfusion.Day four, today, she's been having a little bit of nausea and her sense of smell is very sensitive so she hasn't been able to eat much because any heavy smell makes her feel more nauseous. She had some cereal in the morning and fruit in the afternoon.
Some of the medications to help with the nausea makes her sleepy so she's been napping and resting the whole day. Although nurses have to check on her and do vitals and bloodworks so it's intermittent sleep.
But in general so far she's been doing good and Dr's and nurses have been taking care of her and letting her know how the process is going.
We will keep posting updates for you all.
